Toujours dans le cadre de sa programmation nommée « In suspenso – Artistes en suspension », et après avoir accueilli au printemps 2022 les créateurs Damien Lemercier, Arnaud Poiré, et autres créatures d'une fiction salvatrice,
Kinostub accueille cet automne, et (encore) en son lieu, l'artiste et chercheuse Inès Balanqueux, pour une résidence et exposition nommée " Mauvais Projet " du 23 septembre au 15 octobre 2022.

Tout juste diplômée d’un master Théorie et recherche en arts plastiques de l’Université de Strasbourg, ses recherches interrogent la possibilité que l’art puisse agir comme une contre-fiction aux fictions politiques. Ses travaux ont déjà été visibles en janvier 2022 à la Cryogénie, lors de l’exposition Avec la résistance des images, dont le commissariat avait été réalisé par Chiara Palermo (commissaire d’expositions, docteure en philosophie et directrice des études à l’ENSA de Limoges). Inès Balanqueux propose cette fois-ci une réédition de l’exposition mauvais projet qui s’était déroulé du 21 au 25 février 2022 en Salle Vingt-Sept du Palais Universitaire de Strasbourg. Ces recherches, réalisées en binôme avec son camarade Arnaud Ortlieb, prenaient diverses formes comme celle du docufiction, celle d'objets dont la fonction détournée cherchait à résister à la surveillance de masse contemporaine incarnée par les drones mais aussi des temps d'échanges et de créations par le public lors de l'exposition.
 
Inès Balanqueux expose à l'Atelier KinoStub du 22 septembre au 15 octobre 2022 de nouvelles recherches plastiques sur la capacité de la fiction à mobiliser un imaginaire de lutte et sur une possible résistance à la surveillance de masse généralisée et très prochaine qu’imposent les drones. En parallèle, elle propose des workshops à l’Université de Strasbourg ouvert aux étudiant·es, les 7, 9, 12 et 16 septembre en Salle Vingt-Sept du Palais Universitaire. Deux artistes invités interviendront lors de la matinée, Antoine Hoffmann y présentera son œuvre Schwarz Bloc de 2010 et Gaëtan Moret / Syndicat d'itiniative, proposera une discussion autour des liens entre l'objet lance pierre et ses recherches plastiques. Les étudiant.es présent.es proposeront une création qui apparaîtra dans une publication, dont l’événement de sortie se fera à l'Atelier KinoStub le 06 octobre à partir de 17h00.— Inès Balanqueux
